I am so eager to learn, uncover unexpected solutions, and to connect the details of the product with the big picture goals.

From Wine to Design

Over the last year, I have left a leadership role in the wine and spirits industry where I regularly managed and lead teams, constantly training colleagues and the public. Now I am a skilled and qualified User Experience Designer, with contract work under my belt, looking to keep learning.

Lifelong Learning

My education is robust, with qualifications from U of T, Brainstation, and soon Bridge School. I put to work all of the deep theoretical and practical skills I have learned over the past 10 years in: psychology, culture, collaboration, conflict resolution, and design thinking, as well as technical skills working with Sketch, InVision, and more.

Let’s meet for coffee

We could build great things together.

If you would like to discuss working together, connect with me and let’s meet. I am interested in hearing about Product Designer roles in Toronto or remote.

My Process

Research

Ideate

Design

Prototype

Test

When working on any project, my process is: understand, reflect, create, repeat. Collaborating to bring in all user, business, and stakeholder goals, reflect and synthesize around these, then execute a solution. Repeating is taking this solution back to an understanding phase, testing the solution, reflecting, and iterating again.

In my process work toolbox, I have the skills to create effective interview scripts, journey maps, story boards, user epics, experience maps, task flows, wireframes, prototypes, and prepare files for handoffs. More importantly, I have the understanding of these processes to know when is best to use them and why. I am very enthusiastic to do whatever is needed to deliver elegant, delightful, and meaningful solutions to the people who are within the problem space.

See the UX Case Study: Taste Lab for a more in-depth look at the way I tackle projects.
